About Us

Thank you so much for the outpouring of support; we are so excited to be part of the Benton Park community!
Many of you have no idea who we are so we thought this would be a great time to introduce ourselves.
We opened Frida’s in U City in 2012. It was a tiny place that sat just a handful of people. We served vegan, vegetarian and raw cuisine. We quickly outgrew that space and expanded not once, but three times. Our current menu is plant-based with dairy options. Over five years ago we opened Pedal Pedal Cycling Studio and Stretch Yoga which both closed due to the pandemic. Our second restaurant, Diego’s Cantina opened in October of 2020. Both restaurants are next to each other and tucked away in a little neighborhood off of Delmar. Frida’s is named after our cat and Diego’s is named after Frida Kahlo’s husband, Diego Rivera. 🎨
On a personal note, we are just a typical couple with some fur and feathered kids. Natasha became vegetarian at nine and started working in restaurants, bars and clubs decades ago. Rick, a general contractor, also has decades of experience in restaurants and commercial properties throughout the metropolitan area. We’re a working couple that has a passion in building community and what better way to do it than with food and drink! We can't wait to meet our neighbors!
Cheers!
